Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by Scrub-Hub Cleaning (“we”, “our”, “us”). By booking or using our cleaning services you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms.

3. Definitions

“Customer”, “you” — the person, company or organisation that requests or receives a cleaning service from us.
“Services” — any cleaning, deep cleaning, carpet, upholstery, mattress, curtain, rug, vehicle interior detailing or related services offered by us.

4. Services, quotations & prices

4.1. Services available include deep cleaning, carpet cleaning, rug rejuvenation, mattress cleaning, curtain cleaning, upholstery and couch cleaning and vehicle upholstery cleaning (full list of services as shown on our website). Scrub-Hub Cleaning
4.2. Example prices shown on our site (for reference only) are:

Carpet cleaning — R30 / sqm.
Astro-Turf cleaning — R40 / sqm.
Rug rejuvenation — R40 / sqm.
Curtain cleaning — R40 / sqm.
1-seater couch — R290.
2-seater couch — R390.
4-seater couch — R590.
L-shape couch — R690.
Extra large L-shape couch — R790.
Sleeper couch — R690.
Queen mattress cleaning — R490.

4.3. All prices displayed are indicative only and may change. A formal written quote or confirmation from us is required for the final price. Where a site inspection is necessary we will advise of any additional charges prior to commencement.

5. Booking, confirmation & payment

5.1. Bookings are confirmed only once we provide a booking confirmation (email/SMS) and any required deposit/payment is received.
5.2. Payment methods accepted will be confirmed at time of booking. Full payment is due as set out in your booking confirmation (e.g., on completion of the service, or in advance if requested).
5.3. If additional work is requested on site that was not part of the original quote (e.g., heavy staining, pest removal, extraordinary water damage), you will be notified and charged accordingly.

6. Arrival, access & time windows

6.1. You must provide safe, unobstructed access to the premises and any necessary keys or gate codes. If a technician cannot gain access at the scheduled time, you may be charged for the missed appointment.
6.2. Our published operating hours are Mon–Sun: 09:00 – 23:00. Appointments outside these hours may be subject to an additional fee. Scrub-Hub Cleaning

7. Cancellation & rescheduling

7.1. Customers must provide the notice period specified in their booking confirmation to cancel or reschedule (if no notice period specified, provide at least 24 hours). Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a cancellation fee up to the value of the deposit or a portion of the quoted price.
7.2. We may need to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances (staffing, equipment failure, safety). Where possible we will provide reasonable notice and an alternative booking.

8. Refunds & satisfaction guarantee

8.1. We aim to provide services to a professional standard. If you are not satisfied, notify us within 48 hours of service completion and we will investigate and, where reasonable, offer to rectify.
8.2. Refunds are issued at our discretion and in accordance with consumer protection laws. Refunds do not apply to normal wear and tear or pre-existing damage.

9. Health, safety & responsibility

9.1. You must disclose any known hazards (e.g., asbestos, biohazards, unsafe animals) before our teams attend. We reserve the right to refuse work that places our staff at risk or requires specialist remediation.
9.2. We use cleaning products and equipment chosen to be effective and, where possible, eco-friendly. If you have special requests about chemicals (e.g., fragrance-free or hypoallergenic products), inform us when booking.

10. Liability & limitation of liability

10.1. We carry reasonable insurance for our operations. We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant service.
10.2. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, items not disclosed to us, or loss/damage due to your failure to secure or remove valuables prior to service.

11. Items of value and fragile items

11.1. Remove or secure valuable, fragile or sentimental items (jewellery, cash, artwork) before our arrival. We are not responsible for damage to items left in working areas.

12. Intellectual property and website content

All content on scrub-hubcleaning.co.za (text, images, layout) is the property of Scrub-Hub Cleaning or used with permission. No content may be reproduced without our written consent. (Site copyright and design credits appear on the website.) Scrub-Hub Cleaning

13. Privacy & personal data

We collect personal data necessary to provide services (contact details, address, payment details). We will handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. You agree we may contact you by email or phone regarding bookings and promotions. 14. Complaints

If you have a complaint about our service, please email admin@scrub-hubcleaning.co.za with details and supporting photos where applicable. We will respond and try to resolve within a reasonable time.

15. Third-party links & services

Our website may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for third-party content or services.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective from the date they are posted on our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

17. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved by the courts of South Africa, unless otherwise agreed.
